Resume Version 1 – Professional / Trading Resume

This resume is for jobs in trading, finance, or proprietary trading programs. It shows that I have experience with futures trading, market analysis, and risk management, as well as being able to work well with others and adapt. This edition is all about showing that I’m a motivated beginning in the trading market who is getting better at technical and analytical skills.

Analysis #1

I put my TopStepX trainee experience at the top of my CV because it is the most relevant item I have to trade. I made the overall layout minimal and neat since that is what the majority of trading and finance jobs want. I added abilities like working well with others, talking to people, and quick learning because those are important in trading. Overall, this version is aimed at showing that I am really motivated to become a trader and that I’ve already worked towards that objective in real life.

Resume Version 2 

This was my resume for jobs that I find easier to acquire like a job on campus or outside of campus like fast food. These jobs show that I can work with people, stay responsible, and follow instructions. Analysis #2

I wanted to present a more normal part of my employment history on this resume instead of just talking about trading. I used the jobs I’ve actually worked, like childcare and volunteer work, because those show that I can handle responsibility, communicate with people, and stay on top of things. I also included basic abilities like working with others and following directions because these are useful for practically any student job. I made everything short and to the point so that it appears neat and is easy to read. This version is for entry-level employment when employers generally want someone who is reliable, easy to deal with, and willing to learn. This résumé shows that part of myself.
